It’s been a while…a little catch up.

I haven’t written a blog post for a while. This is down to general busy-ness.

A light dusting November 2024

It’s been harvest time which is obviously very busy. Getting in the fruit, juggling pests and disease and working alongside the weather. I have other duties at work too which take a lot of time.

I have also been doing a forest gardening course with The orchard project. I wanted to expand my knowledge, learn a few things outside of the box and the course certainly did that for me.

Also I’ve been trying to remember to do nothing and spend time just being at home and being with the family when possible. Going out doing things that have nothing to do with my day job.

All very important things!

Now the “busy” has subsided a little, the harvest is in and sent to be made in various different ways and the course is finished I intend to carry on the blog and maybe finish the ebooks I intend to write. I shall also write some exciting things that happened whilst I have been away.

In the meantime I shall soon start pruning again once the leaves have dropped. It is my favourite orchard job and I impatiently look forward to it each year!
